This course is relevant to accountable managers of known consignors, approved hauliers, regulated agents and other aviation industry entities.
This course will equip the trainee with the tools and knowledge to understand the principles of security management systems, SeMS, responsibility for determining risk tolerance, ensuring all activities can be financed and adequately staffed and final accountability for all security issues.
About the Course
This course: The 5 competencies of the accountable managers training will be covered in this computer-based training program to ensure that all the relevant personnel have complete knowledge and understanding of their role and all regulations related to aviation security.
The training provided is in line with NCASP (chapter 11) and Commission implementing regulation (EU)2015/1998.
On the job and practical training can be completed by FQS or be completed under client internal modules where FQS Instructor will assess the module to ensure it meets the requirements of the competency as laid down in the regulations.
Whats covered:
- Specific training of accountable managers shall result in all of the following five competencies:
- Understanding principles of Security Management Systems;
- Knowledge of responsibility and accountability for the SeMS;
- Responsibility for determining risk tolerance;
- Authority for ensuring all activities can be financed and adequately staffed; and
- Understanding of final accountability for all security issues
